PS

I finally found some suitable frames for my 85-91 OG Descendents/ALL fliers

The less handsome unframed fellows will find their way into the binder for now.

A fairly slow month...

But I do have a few things worth sharing...

HEAT shown above. Effigies had some easily removable debris, the Nervous Breakdown is 2nd press and beautiful. SOIA was my $5 find of the month. Note to fellow dorks on the west side of the state, if you see REV 1-10 on color that is an instant buy. Even if you hate the record that is an instant buy. This sat on a shelf for months at Vertigo before i rescued it.

Some common singles shown below. The new SFU releases (including a show cover Ink and Dagger repress). The NA repress cover is HIDEOUS but the vinyl is sharp. Husker Du singles are old, minty and ran a buck apiece.

LP pickups this month include a nice AT/Dischord Flex Your Head, a no bar code Loose Nut, Fear 1st press on SLASH, and a test/tour pressing of the new Deep Sleep.

Mis(adventures) in commerce 11-08

The world of ebay has been- as someone once said- "berry berry good to me" this past month or so. In response to the fact that I now have something to write about more than once a month I believe I'll start posting here again once in a while. Maybe even some brick and mortar scores if I get up of my lazy butt once in a while.

GOOD STUFF AS OF LATE:

Oh how I love the "PUNK LOT"! awesome opportunity to every once in awhile get some stuff for free or next to free. The big guns here as you may see are an OG SUBURBAN MUTILATION (Rev. Norb) LP and a really nice looking Big Lizard in My Backyard. I was pleasantly surprised with condition when I got the box too-most everything looking sharp. Considering I can move the SNFU and SCUM lp's for the asking price- I cashed out some mid level wants on the very cheap.

Next I have an exhibit to present from the world of the OBO. The or best offer option on ebay is one I should use more often. I used it in this case to pick up the delightful first ROTTERS single "Sit on My Face Stevie Nix" for the nice price of $25 USD-even if it is a slightly less desirable later sleeve.

Finally one that just sort of came to me by chance and may have been my bargain of the month-save the fact I picked up that large lot- a Lifetime "Boys No Good on CLEAR for all of $5.50. I think the contributing elements here are the hype around the band having died down a bit as they are not out playing shows at the moment and a pretty poor attempt at humor in the title. THATS why you put it in the description sucker! Either way- good deal.
